A Little About Me
I graduated in 2001 from Valley Union High School. I was in music by way of band and choir all through high school. I have always loved music. In 8th grade I started playing trombone and continued to play through my sophomore year of college. I started singing at a young age, but never liked it until my junior year of high school. During my senior year, I tried out and made it into the regional and all-state choirs as a second bass. I continued singing all the way through college and now in my workplaces.
I attended college at Southwestern College, now Arizona Christian University, in Phoenix, AZ. At the end of the fall semester of 2006, I completed and received a double bachelor's degree in Music Education and Elementary Education.
I am married to my wife Joelle of sevem plus years and have two sons and a daughter, Caleb, who is almost six, Ethan who is around three and a half, and Hannah who is just over a year. My pastimes include volunteering at my church, unicycling with the Desert Mountain Unicycle Club, reading, and being with my family. I love music and seem to always be singing or playing an instrument.
In my spare time on the weekends, I lead worship at North Mountain Church at Cave Creek and Peoria and have been the primary worship leader since late 2005.
It is my distinct pleasure to work with all the students of Desert Mountain School as we explore music and become familiar with its unique language and many, many applications in different places around the world as well as in our own lives. May our endeavors together turn any "dischord" between us into harmony.
